ABOUT Me…
A nutshell… lots to fit in.
I have a significant performance sport background with a degree from Loughborough University and 30 years competing - yes the playground is also a performance space. I am and continue to be a specialist coach within sport, specifically field hockey, working with high achieving individuals. I have coached olympians, some of which have some shiny medals!
Alongside my sport coaching I am a dedicated and passionate family man with 2 kids, my wife and our Labrador, it’s quite the unit.
My qualifications as an executive coach are from Insitute of Leadership and Management (ILM). I completed a level 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring. As a requirement you have 10 supervised sessions, go through a rigorous online learning process, deliver over 90 hours of coaching to over 6 individuals and are examined for competence, understanding and skill.
Outside of the working and family day, I value my fitness going to the gym, getting outside, walking the dog and road cycling (not quite a MAMIL yet).
People are at the heart of any coaching journey. Building a truthful and honest connection is something I consider essential—and it's a key strength of my skillset.
I value self-improvement, vulnerability, and growth coupled with actionable and meaningful change.
The connection between high-performance sport and business offers a powerful way to unlock both individual and team potential.
