Find your Creativity

Creativity... how a conversation about my mum's needlework group got me thinking.

Mum is a creative human being to her very core. She is passionate about it, lives it and shares the ability to be creative with others. She asked me...

"How do I get the group to be MORE CREATIVE?"

I said - "When are YOU most creative?"

Mum: "Usually when I'm awake in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT."

Me: "Cool - why don't you ask them when THEY are at their most creative and then ask them to be aware of that creativity more regularly to bring to the class."

We can access our creative brains, often when we are doing something else mundane, it get's the brain ticking just enough - (Alpha/Theta waves apparently.)

- A dog walk
- Meditating
- A bike ride
- Driving
- Going to sleep/Waking up etc

We can find clarity in creativity, by taking purposeful moments in the day (or night) and repurposing them to promote successful problem solving and decision making.
